Ruszyński, a native of Lodz, graduated from the "technical and commercial"studies in Switzerland,after the death of his uncle Gustav Markowicz inherited iron and coal mines in Spain and shares in various companies. In 1920, he tried to set up with the Aleksy Chrzanowski First Polish Exemplary Farm Association based in Szczucin, wanted to also buy shares of mine in Zagłębie Dabrowskie .
